Wednesday Morning Dispatches

March 3, 2010
by Huckleberry Dumbell, Editor In Chief

Today, I am trapped in the house waiting for UPS to come because I have to sign for a package. They said they would come some time between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., which doesn’t narrow it down too much. I guess I can find stuff to do today around the house but I have to make a cat food run before 8:00. In the meantime, amuse thy selves:

  • It doesn’t matter that Mr. Ruggeri is a “former owner” of the Black Trumpet/Clarke Hotel. This can’t be good news for those businesses.
  • Good news for Waukesha Engine, as one of their products gets a place in a trade publication’s “World’s Best” issue.
  • Wednesday Sound Off. Someone mentions the issue of sex offenders being dumped in Waukesha and Mayor Nelson’s tepid reaction to the situation. According to Family Watchdog, there are 15 sex offenders listed at 1100/1104 E. Main Street and and another 18 offenders within a half a mile of those addresses
  • Mark Belling has some harsh words for Waukesha mayoral candidate Jeff Scrima.
  • As does blogger James Wigderson.

Probably too late for Chef Ramsey to come to the rescue.

If we have 4 more years of Larry, I’ll be the first to thank conservative columnist, blogger, and all around good guy James Wigderson.

You’re welcome, but tonight it’s really all about thanking the industry that gave me a chance, the fans that supported me, my wife and family, and the candidates that really make my columns write themselves. I’m touched the academy gave me this honor. But remember, it’s all about the writers.
