Mayor Larry writes, “It should be a columnist’s responsibility to get the facts before writing his column and it is disappointing that this was not the case here as Pete has done in the past,” as he responds to Pete Kennedy’s column from last Saturday. Thank God I’m not a columnist and can say stuff without gathering any pesky facts.

Apparently, the Common Council and the mayor were not planning on the $500,000 they didn’t get from the Feds, but decided to build a fire station anyway. We agreed to this? Are we fracking morons? Short answer: Yes. I guess the mayor also will tell us we agreed to an additional $2,000,000.00 deficit as well because nothing is his fault and we’re all ignoring all the great things he has done.
