I previously mentioned why moving to Tennessee would be good for you and good for me, now here comes one more reason. The sales tax in Tennessee is admittedly high because everything else is low or non-existent, but they have “Tax Holidays” and one is coming this weekend!

You should run like a Frenchman from a fight. You would save enough to buy a DTV dish and you could watch the Pack and the Brewers from anywhere in this great nation.
I have been asking myself the same question lately why do I stay in Wisconsin.

I need to sell my condo and use the profit from that sale to rehab my house, then sell my house, all in the worst housing market in ten years or more. Then it’s take the money from that sale, all in small, unmarked bills, stuff it in a canvas gym bag and ride in the back seat of Trailways bus until I die of consumption on the road to California.
