Oktoberfest Ends This Weekend

As if to illustrate my point that La Crosse has a drinking problem, an ER doctor says that the intoxiction levels he saw the first weekend of Oktoberfest (last weekend) were the worst he’s seen in 32 years. The volume of drunks is delaying care to other patients, as well.
On the possibility that there is a serial killer afoot, there is at least one person on La Crosse’s Alcohol Task Force “has a difficult time accepting that every death is a result of binge drinking“.
A community in denial, that’s all it is. Remember, I wrote this before all this started.
