Sha-Town Short-Takes from the Freeman
- I’m following the shuttle return on NASA-TV (Channel 13) and they’re showing a procession of vehicles going to the landing area. It looks very much like the scene in Airplane where fire trucks, beer trucks, milkmen and tractors head towards the runway.
- Oh my goodness, 105 in Hayward. Remember, bath tubs can be filled with cool water, too.
- Is this the place on the corner by Maders Restaurant? Great, just wonderful, good job, Milwaukee.
- Drop-off fees at the dump start Saturday. I notice you can stick it to the Man by having your 65-year old neighbor drive.
